1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Grown From Love ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Grown From Love provides a platform for purchasing memorial tree plantings and personalized keepsake cards in honor of loved ones. Our service includes:
- Selection of tree types and quantities for memorial plantings.
- Personalization and printing of physical keepsake cards.
- Group tribute functionality ("Plant Together") for collective donations.
- Online tribute/honor pages for each memorial.
3. Purchases and Payments
All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in US Dollars. By making a purchase, you agree that:
- You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- All sales are final. Due to the nature of tree plantings and printed cards, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Tree Plantings
Trees are planted through our partner organizations in forest gardens in sub-Saharan Africa. While we make every effort to plant the specified tree type, the exact species may vary based on ecological conditions and availability. Tree counts are calculated based on donation amount and current pricing tiers.
5. Keepsake Cards
Physical cards are printed and mailed by our printing partner. Delivery typically takes 5-7 business days within the United States. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services. Please ensure recipient addresses are accurate, as cards cannot be recalled once mailed.
6. User Accounts
You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to not impersonate others.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the personal messages and content you provide for cards and tributes. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order (printing cards, displaying tribute pages).
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to submit content that is defamatory, hateful, or obscene, or to attempt to disrupt the Service or access other users' information.
9. Limitation of Liability
Grown From Love is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
